On Sunday 27 July, be a buddy and join us at the grounds of the MCG for our annual fundraising match day in partnership with the Richmond Football Club.
Every hour a child is removed from an unsafe home*, and many arrive in emergency care with just the clothes on their back.
The Sunday match at the MCG is more than a game – it's a day where the incredible Tiger Army unites to ensure no child in emergency care goes to bed without a Buddy Bag filled with clean clothes and the comfort of a teddy bear.

Each Buddy Bag is like a care package, filled with brand-new essentials to help a child on their first steps to safety and recovery.
Right now, half the children who need a Buddy Bag are missing out because we can’t keep up with demand.

When siblings Millie (4), Aaron (7), and Jessica (10)* were first taken into emergency foster care, they were traumatised. The violence they'd experienced meant they were afraid of everyone. They barely even spoke.
But thanks to caring people like you, they were each given a Buddy Bag on one of the toughest days of their lives.
