The Alannah & Madeline Foundation
What does the Alannah & Madeline Foundation do?
The Alannah & Madeline Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation. Together with our compassionate supporters, we help children who have experienced violence and trauma to heal, recover and thrive.
We work to make sure children and young people feel safe, protected and valued. Wherever they live, learn and play.
Like you, we believe every child deserves to experience the magic of childhood. And all children and young people have the right to live without fear, without violence, and without trauma.
Why is my donation so important?
Without your support, many children who’ve experienced extreme violence and trauma may never receive the help they need to recover. They could simply fall through the cracks.
Every time you donate to the Alannah & Madeline Foundation, you help deliver expert support to help those children feel comforted, safe, valued, and loved.
Your gifts also fund services that help children and young people heal, recover and thrive.
Many Alannah & Madeline Foundation programs operate entirely and exclusively through the generous support of donors.
Your donation ensures these programs and services can not only continue to operate but can be offered to more children and young people who urgently need them.
How will my donation be spent?
Your donation will help children who’ve experienced violence and trauma in three important ways.
Care – you’ll help provide expert, one-on-one therapy to help children process their experiences and heal. You’ll give practical and emotional support to children who are in crisis or have been taken into emergency care. And you’ll help surround children with support if they need to testify against someone who’s harmed them in court.
Prevention – you’ll help children with online safety classes and anti-bullying workshops to schools. And you’ll help give young people the tools they need to stay resilient in the face of rejection.
Advocacy – you’ll be part of a strong voice, speaking out on behalf of children and young people, fighting for their right to be free from violence and trauma.
How can I contact the Alannah & Madeline Foundation?
