Painted Kids starts this Monday!

Wednesday 13th Aug
During Painted Kids  (August 18 - September 19), Lloyd St School students will be allowed to paint one fingernail purple in order to show support for child victims of violence.

During this period, students will be encouraged to seek out sponsors to raise money for the Alannah & Madeline Foundation's Buddy Bag Program. 

During the final week of term, students at LSS will be asked to bring a gold coin donation to school for this cause. To increase community support, parents and teachers can paint a fingernail purple without a gold coin donation. 

There will be a nail polish station running between Monday 15- Thursday 18 September at recess and lunch and after school (from 3:20 until 3:45pm) on Terrace 1.

How to sponsor a student

If you would like to sponsor a family grouping please nominate the family grouping by noting the first names and first initials of the students and their year level(s).

Medals will be awarded to the top fundraisers in each level.
