Thank you for stopping by to support a cause close to our hearts—helping children feel safe, supported, and cared for.

This September, Explorers is taking part in Alannah & Madeline Day by hosting a Purple Picnic to raise funds for Buddy Bags—backpacks filled with essential items like pyjamas, toiletries, a book, and a cuddly teddy bear, given to children who have had to leave their homes due to violence or danger.

Every day in Australia, 32 children are placed into emergency care—many with nothing but the clothes they’re wearing. A Buddy Bag is a small but powerful way to show these children that someone cares.

Right now, only half of the children who need a Buddy Bag receive one—and we want to help change that.
