Hampton Children’s Playhouse is going Purple!

Hampton Children’s Playhouse is hosting a Purple Picnic at our September Superhero Event! 

This September, we’re supporting Alannah & Madeline Day to help give children something special when they need it most—a Buddy Bag full of love and comfort. All funds raised from our Monday and Friday playgroups (non-members can join those sessions for $5) during September will be donated and you will have the opportunity to make a donation at our September Superhero event and picnic. 

Every day in Australia, 32 children have to leave their homes in a hurry because it’s not safe to stay. Many arrive in emergency care with nothing but the clothes they’re wearing. That’s where a Buddy Bag makes a big difference!

Each bag is packed with fresh PJs, toiletries, a book, a cuddly teddy and other goodies to help a child feel safe, warm and cared for. Right now, though, only half of the children who need one get one—and we want to help change that.

So come along to our Superhero event and Purple Picnic at Hampton Children’s Playhouse on Saturday 6th September from 10am and join in the fun! If you would like to make a donation on the day, you’ll be helping children feel loved, supported, and reminded that they’re not alone.
