We're hosting a Purple Picnic to help children escaping violence

This September, We're hosting a Purple Picnic as part of Alannah & Madeline Day, raising funds to provide much-needed Buddy Bags for children escaping violence.

Every day in Australia, 32 children are placed into emergency care because they’re at serious risk of harm or have no safe place to live. Many are removed with nothing but the clothes they’re wearing.

A Buddy Bag packed with brand-new, essential comforts, like PJs, toiletries and a teddy should be waiting for every child who has fled danger. But right now, 1 in 2 children miss out, because the Alannah & Madeline Foundation simply can’t keep up with demand.
