Fundraise at school

Parents. Teachers. Students. Get your whole school community together, and hold a curriculum-friendly fundraiser to help protect children from violence and bullying.

It’s serious stuff. But it’s serious fun, too.

Dress in purple for a gold coin donation. Hold a lunchtime sausage sizzle. Sell homemade crafts at school. No idea is too big or too small.

Fundraising at school for the Alannah & Madeline Foundation works in two powerful ways: helping children who’ve experienced violence and trauma recover, heal, and thrive. AND opening up the opportunity for discussion on how to keep children safe.

Tasmanian school makes huge impact.

Devonport High School students ran their very own Purple Day to fundraise to help children live happy, safe and strong. Led by the Student Leadership team, they had a collection of activities organised!

Students, dressed in purple for a
gold coin donation and there was a catwalk for those who wanted to show off their amazing outfits. At lunchtime, the passionate team sold purple cupcakes and they concluded their fundraising celebrations, with a staff VS student basketball game.

"Overall, the day was a success and went as planned. After lots of thorough planning and resilience, the team felt extremely happy with how the day went and fundraising made it feel so worth it. Devonport High School Student."
