My friend Orla Campbell and myself, Michelle Ingram are hosting a Purple Picnic on Sunday 21st September for Alannah & Madeline Day!

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page and helping to give children love, comfot and a Buddy Bag!

This September, on Sunday 21st 

My good friend Orla and I are hosting a Purple Picnic as part of Alannah & Madeline Day, raising funds to provide much-needed Buddy Bags for children escaping violence.

Every day in Australia, 32 children are placed into emergency care because they’re at serious risk of harm or have no safe place to live. Many are removed with nothing but the clothes they’re wearing.

A Buddy Bag packed with brand-new, essential comforts, like PJs, toiletries and a teddy should be waiting for every child who has fled danger. But right now, 1 in 2 children miss out, because the Alannah & Madeline Foundation simply can’t keep up with demand.

I had a backpack with real size buddy bag products and the entrants had to list them from lowest to highest. The higher they got in the order, the closer they putted from in their golf.

I hung some pyjamas on the clothes line ..  Purple ones were worth 6 points and all others were worth 3.

I set up a scavenger hunt in my back garden and gave each entrant a mini back pack to fill with scale size items of the contents of a buddy bag.

Purple Picnic update

We will move inside in the event of winter weather attending…
Please join us for some fun, some awareness, a bite to eat and to raise some important funds for this magnificent foundation. 
We are asking for a $5 entry donation which will include a light lunch for all. We will have 3 games which will each incur a participation donation if you choose to have a go.
